Reservation decision
Normal Metro journeys are planned by line, direction and destination rather than a seat reservation. Through-running trains still require the destination and operator boundary to be checked.
Arrival district
Make one trip concrete: from Shibuya to Asakusa, follow the Ginza Line and the destination “Asakusa.” On arrival, that Tokyo Metro station is not the same paid area as Toei, Tobu or Tsukuba Express. Other journeys need their own line name, direction and station code.
