A short working page for moving between the international terminal, domestic terminal subway station, Hakata, Tenjin and the wider Kyushu journey.

01 · THE SMALL MENTAL MAP
Two terminals, one runway boundary, three onward choices
The subway belongs to the domestic-terminal side. International arrivals choose between the free shuttle, a bus from the international access hall, or another official road connection.
International Terminal
International arrivals reach a first-floor public area and access hall. The subway is not beneath this building; direct local or highway buses may avoid an unnecessary terminal transfer.
Choose direct bus or terminal shuttle before following a subway result.Inter-terminal shuttle
The official free shuttle links the international and domestic buildings around the runway. The representative ride is about ten minutes, but traffic, waiting, boarding and the walk to the subway add more.
Count baggage claim to the subway gate, not bus minutes alone.Domestic Terminal & subway
Fukuoka Airport Station is under the domestic terminal. The subway is excellent for many Hakata and Tenjin journeys, but international travellers reach it only after the terminal shuttle unless another route is chosen.
Confirm that “Fukuoka Airport Station” means the domestic side.Hakata, Tenjin and the hotel door
Hakata and Tenjin are different centres. Keep the exact station, exit and hotel address visible; the fastest airport segment can lose its value in a difficult final transfer.
Translate “Fukuoka” into Hakata, Tenjin or another exact stop.CHOOSE ONE CARD FOR THIS MOMENT
