Freeze the flight number and terminal first. T1 pairs with Narita Airport Station; T2 and T3 pair with Airport Terminal 2·3 Station. The airport describes representative walks of about five minutes for T1 and T2 and about ten minutes for T3 from their stations. These are orientation figures, not a guarantee with baggage, lift waits or crowds. Public shuttle buses and airside connection buses are different systems.

Terminal 1
Keep T1 + wing + flight number together.T1 has North and South Wing check-in areas. Its rail access is Narita Airport Station—not Airport Terminal 2·3 Station. Use today’s flight search to confirm the terminal and wing before arranging a meeting or return journey.
Terminal 2
Do not shorten the station name to “Narita Airport.”T2 is served by Airport Terminal 2·3 Station. International arrival is in the main building; departure gates can extend through connecting corridors and satellite areas. Floor, security side and gate remain separate clues.
Terminal 3
Add the T3–station leg before comparing trains.T3 uses Airport Terminal 2·3 Station via an access corridor; the airport gives a representative walk of about ten minutes from the station. Public shuttle buses and some direct road services are separate alternatives. Count this first terminal leg before comparing city times.

Scene
A first-time visitor lands at T3 with one large suitcase. The booking email says “Narita,” while the rail screen says Airport Terminal 2·3 Station. That difference is expected, not a wrong airport.
Decision
Keep the flight terminal visible, follow the public-area route toward T2 and include that corridor before comparing a train departure. A five-minute connection shown by a route app is not five usable minutes when the station walk, ticket choice and platform still remain.
Recovery
If the signs or station name feel inconsistent, stop at an airport information counter before passing another decision point. Ask staff to match the flight terminal, station name and transport product as one set.

- “Narita Airport Station” does not serve every terminal equally.
- T3 does not have a separate rail station named Terminal 3.
