Three ordinary moments make the idea visible
At 08:15, a platform can be crowded without being silent or perfectly orderly. People read floor marks, leave a path beside the doors and adjust when the train changes. Later, a restaurant may keep a table for a reservation even when the room is small. These are not signs that everyone thinks alike; they are practical negotiations over shared time and space.
A reservation time
Arriving a little early protects a small venue’s seating plan. If you will be late, contact the venue instead of assuming the table will remain.
The next person
Returning a tray, basket or shared umbrella to the marked place is a tiny way to leave the system usable.
